Leadership Inventory for Female Executives (LIFE)

The Leadership Inventory for Female Executives (LIFE) program is an innovative program designed to empower women in public safety by bridging the existing gap of female representation at executive levels in Texas and nationwide. This program fosters professional growth, personal development, and strategic career planning tailored to current and aspiring female leaders.

The LIFE program is rooted in extensive research on leadership dynamics and focuses on amplifying the unique perspectives and voices of women in public safety. By participating, attendees will gain critical insights into organizational practices, decision-making processes, and effective leadership styles. The curriculum is delivered in an intimate, interactive classroom setting that encourages open dialogue, exploration, and the development of meaningful professional networks. Therefore, our policy is one participant per agency per class.

To support ongoing professional engagement, LIFE graduates are connected through LIFELINE, a quarterly newsletter offering educational insights and inspirational content. The newsletter is a resource for continuous learning and community building among alumnae. You can view or download pdfs of the newsletter from our Online Archive.

The program welcomes one participant per agency per session to maintain a focused and personalized experience.
