Dr. Gary Cordner is Chief Research Advisor with the National Institute of Justice and Senior Police Advisor for ICITAP (USDOJ) working on police reform in Ukraine. Additionally, he is Professor Emeritus at Kutztown University and Foundation Professor Emeritus at Eastern Kentucky University, where he served as Dean of the College of Justice & Safety. He recently completed 9 years as a Commissioner with CALEA and served as Co-PI on the National Police Research Platform. He was editor of both the American Journal of Police and Police Quarterly, is author of Police Administration (9th edition, Routledge) and coauthor of Police & Society (7th edition, Oxford). He worked as a police officer and police chief in Maryland and received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University. He is a recipient of the Fellow and Bruce Smith Sr. awards from the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and the ACJS Police Section’s O.W. Wilson award.

Cancellation Policy:

If no notice of cancellation is received by the Program Coordinator prior to the date of the program, and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or their agency will be required to pay a $100 'NO-SHOW' fee.
